Overview
The House in the Castle is part of the the Castle of Kimolos built in the 16th century – a monument protected by the Ephorate of Byzantine Antiquities. Renewed with respect for tradition in 2008, it is an independent self-catering accommodation for up to six people. The house is in the centre of the “Horio”, the main town of Kimolos island, just one kilometre away from the port and three kilometres away from the clean sandy beaches. The two bedrooms are independent and can be used by two families with one child each. The well-equipped kitchen, the provision of mountain bikes, a rugged three-wheel pushchair and more, in combination with the peaceful, safe environment make this house ideal for family holidays. You can forget the car, the neon lights and the stress of everyday life. Here, the old women are knitting outside their houses in the evening, and you, while walking towards the old cafe for an ouzo, will find you really have to say “Hello” to them.
